CII Diploma in insurance

Completion requirements

The programme comprises two compulsory units and optional units from across the insurance qualifications framework. A minimum of 120 CII credits must be obtained for successful completion, with at least 90 credits at an advanced level or above. These credits can be used towards further CII qualifications.

Diploma in Insurance - Core Units

It is recommended to start with the compulsory units as they provide foundational knowledge upon which other units build.

Diploma in Insurance - Option Units

We recommend entrants also sit unit (IF1) Insurance, Legal and Regulatory, which covers the workings of the market, including the legal and regulatory framework and the essentials of insurance practice.
