Course particulars

The English legal system and sources of law, legal persons, negligence and other key torts, liability and damages, plus the essential principles of contract law. Practical insurance examples bring the legal concepts to life.
The law of agency and its application to brokers, insurers and policyholders, formation of insurance contracts, insurable interest, disclosure, misrepresentation, contract terms, warranties and the consequences of breach.
The legal principles governing insurance claims, measuring losses, indemnity, subrogation and contribution. Learners work through practical claims scenarios and apply the law to realistic insurance situations.
A timed 60-minute mock examination followed by detailed tutor-led review. Analyse difficult questions, understand why answers are right or wrong, identify knowledge gaps and develop techniques for standard and multiple-response questions.
Final consolidation before the exam. Target weak areas, revisit challenging legal concepts, practise high-value questions, clarify last-minute queries and leave with a personalised final revision plan.
