A software developer, also known as a computer programmer, is likely to work as part of a larger team on projects to design, build, implement, test, and maintain new pieces of software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the IT industry, a strong academic background, a keen eye for detail and take enjoyment in solving problems.
This apprenticeship is recognised for entry onto the register of IT Technicians confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence and those completing the apprenticeship are eligible to apply for registration.
