This qualification helps to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in an IT Technical Sales role.
The primary role of an IT Technical sales apprentice is to be an outbound seller or reseller, generating leads, appointments or sales with a pipeline of current and prospect customers.
This qualification will enable Apprentices to become an integral part of a sales team, combining the key technical knowledge of a portfolio with essential sales skills to maintain a pipeline of quality leads to hit their targets.
Sales apprentices become experts in their technical field, providing a proactive sales function, offering advice and technical support on a range of products for current or prospect customers.
The course suits people already in, or aspiring to be in, the following tech sales based roles, at a trainee, executive, or junior account manager level: tech sales, tech business development, tech customer support, telesales, telemarketing, account management and similar.
Entry requirements can be set by employers, so any new or existing staff can be enrolled onto the Technical Sales Apprenticeship provided they meet the basic criteria of being an EU citizen and having lived in the EU continuously for the last 3 years. The training is delivered using a variety of methods, including Online Live, Apprentices will receive assessor contact every 6 weeks which will be a full progress review, we encourage all managers and mentors to participate in this progress review.
Towards the end of the apprenticeship the assessor will provide final contact sessions to prepare your apprentice for EPA.
