British hairdressing is considered the best in the world, and apprenticeships are a great way to learn the skills needed to join this ever-growing industry. Each apprentice will primarily learn and develop a set of core skills and knowledge before going on to complete their apprenticeship in their chosen career path. On completion of this qualification, the apprentice will be a fully qualified hairdresser, however should the learner wish to progress, they can further their skills and even develop salon management skills through completing the level 3 apprenticeship standard.
Achievement of the Standard makes the apprentice eligible for State Registration with the Hair Council.
